I am thinking the freefall map will be for the day 1 patch for MW3, seeing as how they make the best DLC they decide to make it free on day 1.
Which is "NEW" this year? And why not make it free?
People still play the games they got when they released, and buying the Call of Duty game is a commitment to play a game (unless you only own the physical copies).

Yes, while it will not require an Xbox Live Gold membership to download, it's included with the title as a free download.
The original Call of Duty: Ghosts launched on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on November 5, 2014. We will be providing an in-depth review for the title on next Monday.
